Interview with Austen Gravett

Interview with Austen Gravett

Could you tell us a bit about yourself and how you started training?

I’m 24 years old and have a heart and passion for fitness and personal development.   At 18, I was unhappy with my physique and lacked self-confidence. And after realizing I was not getting anywhere with eating bad and lack of exercise I decided enough was enough and I found the need to change. Ever since I saw the slightest results I was hooked and fell in love with fitness.

How do you stay motivated?

I always remind myself my “why”. Why I do what I do. In other words, my purpose. I always remember my WHY and WHY I started. That is to change myself both physically and mentally but while helping and inspiring others to make a shift by telling my story.

What is your diet like?

I eat 80% clean with 20% flexibility. So in this case, if I have 5 meals a day 4 would be clean and 1 would be what ever I want. But they most fit within my macros and calories for that day!

What gives you the best results when trying to get lean?

I believe the two things listed above. However, everyone is different so these two things may not work best for them. It’s about trial and error and discovering what works best for you and what workout/ diet is most congruent with your goals.

I like Asd-perofrmance.com products. I use their whey protein powder fusion, and refuel BCCA’S. I also take a multi-vitamin, fish oil, and creatine.
