Could you tell us a bit about yourself and how you started training?
I was an athlete growing up but always very skinny. I started my journey at age 18 at 150lbs at 6’00”. I got into fitness because I wanted to build some muscle and was always thin. After a few months I knew I would workout and live this lifestyle forever. Fast forward to today and 70lbs of Muscle Later I have made a career out of staying in shape and showing others how to as well..
How do you stay motivated?
Fitness is a huge aspect of every part of my life, I live and breathe it every single day. My Fiance Diana Chaloux and I own Hitch Fit 1 on 1 Personal Training and Hitch Fit Online Training (www.hitchfit.com) where globally we have over 500 clients in over 40 countries, we are both Top 5 Fitness Pros with the Wbff (www.wbffshows.com). I am a fitness cover model and have been featured in over 65 national fitness publications such magazines as Muscle and Fitness, Maximum Fitness, Status Fitness, Inside Fitness, Muscle and Body, Exercise and Health, etc.. My main focus in my life now is helping others through my success. I love seeing people change their lives for the better and I want to go down as one of the very best in the world at transforming people. That is where my motivation comes from.
What is your current workout routine?
At this moment I am in a bulking stage and will be for another 30 days. I have a 5 day split concentrating on one major muscle group per day and 2 days that are geared towards my secondary muscle groups. I keep my rep count from 6-12 reps, moderate to heavy weight. Everything is slow and controlled, its all about growing. I do not do any cardio during this period of time.

Tuesday – Chest, Calves
Wednesday – Legs
Thursday – Off
Friday – Shoulders, calves
Saturday – Triceps, Biceps
Sunday – Off
What is your diet like?
The fact that I’m bulking I’m consuming far more then I would during cutting or maintenance. I am consuming about 8-10 meals with a total of 4500-5500 calories per day. This is when eating is a full time job many times having to force feed myself, lol. I’m eating lots of meat, protein shakes, peanut butter, rice, potatoes, oats with a few big cheat meals weekly to give me those extra calories and help me stay strong in the gym..
What 3 exercises have contributed the most to building your physique?
In the industry I have been known as having some of the best legs out there, especially calves. I train my legs harder then any other muscle group. I would have to go with Leg Press, Seated Calf and for upper body I love Incline Chest Press.
What supplements do you use?
I use L arginine, L glutamine, Creatine, Whey Isolate, Casein, Multi Vitamin and Bcaa’s.
What is the most common training question that people ask you?
What ab exercises can I do to get awesome abs? I get questions like this literally everyday. I tell every single person the same thing. STOP focusing on new core exercises and tighten your diet up.. Abs are made in the kitchen, you have to get your body fat low enough in your abdominal region so you can see your abs, abs exercises alone will not get your abs visual..
What is your greatest achievement so far?
Opening Hitch Fit and the growth that has happened has to be the biggest. From a idea to a Global expansion in less then 2 years. We are helping clients in over 40 countries and growing rapidly. I have been featured on 7 different covers nationally and finished 5th last year at the Wbff World Championships in Pro Fitness Model. Those are some of my bigger accomplishments and ones I am most proud of.
What is your favorite quote?
”Most everything in this life can be controlled through choices. Sometimes it just takes some rearrangement of “Playmates and Playgrounds”. You cut all the negative people and places out of your life and all of a sudden your life is much easier. Wow, go figure that. You have to be able to let go and move on knowing there are better places to be and better people to surround yourself with.”

What are your plans for the future?
Growing Hitch Fit into a Empire Globally. We have a clothing line that just came out, have supplements we are designing, another book we are developing and a i phone application. We are constantly building and being the very best at getting people to their goals.
