Could you tell us a bit about yourself and how you started training?
Sure, I first started working out seriously when I was 17 just after graduating High School. I wasn’t too sure at the time how I wanted to incorporate the bodybuilding into any future endeavors but I just kept at the weights, knowing that one day, I would find my calling. I was slowly introduced to photographers through word of mouth, with whom I began shooting with. I will include some excerpts from some these shoots here for you to see and I think that each photo shoot allows me to see something in myself that I haven’t seen before. Each shoot allows me to see some potential flaws or areas that I need to pay extra attention too and some allow me to appreciate the creativeness in not only my pictures but the photographers as well.

How do you stay motivated?
Staying motivated was definitely really challenging. Its much easier for me to set goals for myself that are reasonable and stay focused to try and achieve them. I generally like to drink an energy drink just prior to going to the gym to ensure the best possible intensity while training. I also enjoy listening to my i-pod to help keep the tempo up; and keep people from starting their annoying casual conversations while working out.

What is your current workout routine?
I do train a different body part everyday and take off usually just one day a week. I will typically do cardio every other day, to keep the extra pounds off and help with the endurance. I usually also incorporate a leg exercise or two everyday, as I don’t like to devote a whole day for legs…don’t ask, I just don’t, lol.

What is your diet like?
Right now, its very lean. I like to each lettuce wraps, which include, fat free cheese, mustard, and turkey, wrapped in a leaf of lettuce; this can vary to meet your diet needs. I love to eat low fat yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and chicken and rice at night and drink Gatorade, skim milk, chocolate milk.

You’ve probably heard other people mention the same thing, (diet/cardo) but it is also very consistent with me. Eating very lean, training as usual, and incorporating cardio into my workout plan, will usually help shed the extra pounds.
